GyeongJu

Today was a wonderful day!

It was one of those days that I didnt want to see end.

Christina and I went to Gyeong Ju, a historic and very traditional place. We were able to see a Temple and climb many stairs to see some Statues of Buddha. It felt so cozy!

We had a wonderful meal with many side dishes. After this we were originally go to another site within the city but we got caught in the middle of a Rainstorm.

I love Rainstorms. I dont know why. Maybe I am used to them from working in Wisconsin and getting drenched all the time. Maybe it was because I was feeling at ease and peaceful and nothing could ruin that for me.

There is no one I would rather spend a wet afternoon with than Christina^^

We sat and waited for the bus to come and take us to somewhere else.

With the exception of the Storm our day was very close to perfect. WE toured a museum
and saw many monuments of Buddha, pottery, and other things. Like I said Gyeong Ju is very traditional and I enjoyed being here a lot.

The trip home the bus was jammed packed so Christina and I had to stand for the hour trip back to Gumi.

Gumi, just isnt the same as the rest of Korea. I am hoping for many more adventures in Korea with Christina to follow this one.

After sharing a quick bite to eat I left Christina in her district (Sin peong-dong) I live in Hyunkgook-dong. I walked the furthest I have walked since getting to Korea (at least in the city part). It took me 20 minutes to get home, and I have learned shortcuts. I am familiar with Gumi.
My reading ability also continues to improve Thanks to Christina.

Today was a wonderful way to begin my 3 day vacation!
So, anyways its time to get ready for bed and just DREAM of pigs and such.....

**Live for Today because you dont know the journey tomorrow will bring....
Realize anything is possible^^
